The flowers scent , the rain and the company
PF had never been to Botanical Garden before. I was dumbfounded. So I can guess that most of my friends had heard before but they had never stepped into the urban rainforest. What a shame, what a pity. Singapore government had spent so much on our recreation and yet we, as Singaporeans, are lamenting over the lack of entertainment places. Maybe I am an 'outdoorsy' person that likes to be bitten by mosquitoes and enjoy the heat and light from the mother nature. Haha.
So we had arranged to meet at Ya Kun for breakfast. She complained that it was expensive. That dork. Doesnt she know that a hearty breakfast is a good start for the day? It is like a huge cup of coffee splashed on my head. Anyway, I rebutted her back, 'you could have told me to eat other place!?' Anyway, both of us are like old grumpy ladies grumbling and whining at each other. What a sight. We began to talk everything under the sun. It is amazing how we can talk so much crap and i think it is bothering the person who is sitting beside us.
We have finally reached the garden and she was busy snapping pictures of the Botanical Garden Gate. She is just like a kid who has never been to an exciting place and I am like a tour guide who is eager to show her around. Hehe. She kept asking, can we go here? Can we go there? Ahem, unless we have clones, or we split up. It is not possible. I told her , be patient. I have been to this place like donkey times, so I am pretty familiar with the nice surroundings.
The dark clouds are looming, PF commented that it looks like it is going to rain. I told her that to shush. Deep in my heart, I was silently prayed that it will not. The huge grey clouds like threatening. Shoot. We had barely walked for 10 mins, thanks to her lucky mouth, we had to walk briskly to a sheltered place. The funny thing is we are still taking pictures along the way. Haha. While we were walking, I spotted a foreigner was stuck along one of the bushes. I lent my umbrella to him while I shared the umbrella with PF. We had a brief conversation and finally we have reached to a sheltered place.
